Perhaps the most important step to making money online is wanting to do it. The Internet, contrary to many headlines we see, is not a ‘get rich quick scheme. A solid internet income is earned the same way a brick-and-mortar income is earned through hard work, long hours, and dedication to making money online. To make money online, you must be willing to work hard, often long hours, study the latest content on marketing and traffic generation, and stick with it before you start making big money online.
Number One
To make money online, you must develop a basic understanding of why people buy. The psychological motivations for internet purchases are similar to offline purchases. People buy things online because they think the purchase will make them feel younger, sexier, and happier, or because it will make them rich or well-liked.
Num Two to make money online
You must find or develop a product that is suitable for making money online. It must primarily satisfy the emotional needs of people online, and make them feel younger, sexier, happier, To feel rich, or well-liked.
Number Three
To make money online, you must learn everything there is to know about marketing, both offline and online. You must understand what people buy. You can’t simply cut and paste from templates to get good at online marketing.
Number Four
You must be willing to test everything you do. Many times what you do online is in bulk, unlike some offline marketing. You can send a million emails, buy a thousand PPCs, or receive hundreds of visitors a day. You must be able to identify which types of visitors make you money or you will fail. In many marketing campaigns you run, you will have parts that are profitable and parts that are not. If you can’t identify which ones are which, eliminate those that aren’t profitable and increase costs in those areas, you will fail.
Number Five to make money online
You should be willing to reinvest most of your initial profits back into your business. When you first start marketing, you’re excited and ready to spend countless hours into the wee hours of the morning placing cheap classified ads and requesting links with directories and other websites. However, once you have a thousand subscribers, you will focus more on conversion rates and your website and have less time for low-cost traffic generation. You’ll need to budget for more expensive (and usually higher quality) traffic. While it’s not always the case that paying more gives you a better edge, it’s usually the case that paying less gives you a lower edge.
Lastly
Last but perhaps most important. You have to be willing to stick it out. You may not be making much money online in the first few months, but you knew that going in and you’re excited about the Internet riches you dream of. After a few months of 80-90 hour weeks, you get tired and may be tempted to quit. If (and only if, note) you’re testing every ad you run and every response you receive, you’ll be able to make better decisions and become profitable over the next few months. But if you burn out and quit, you lose everything. Don’t give up!
How to Make Money With Email Campaigns?

There are two basic types of email campaigns that can be used to make money online. Have an email campaign that uses the list you bought online and mailed millions of times. This list is very unresponsive, it generates spam complaints, and, while it may bring modest returns, it’s a headache.
The second is an email campaign that uses your own, personally created list, and is sent only as often as you choose. That list is highly responsive, doesn’t generate spam complaints, and generates great returns.
So which one to choose? Your list, of course. But what if you don’t have your list? Make one. That’s right, make your list.
How do you do that?
1) You must have a website and an autoresponder. Place a web form on a page of your website (the page where you send traffic) and send those leads to your autoresponder.
2) Offer visitors a free e-book or another valuable gift for subscribing to your list.
3) Send only very valuable information to your subscribers. Build relationships with your subscribers. Get them to look forward to your emails so they happily open them, happily read them, and happily reply!
It sounds pretty easy to do. A lot of people try to overcomplicate things and use 200 constants to work. Why use 200 steps when 3 or 4 will do just fine?
Once you’ve built a relationship with your email list, you can start promoting your product, website, or whatever else you have that generates your income online.
But you have to develop relationships first.
Which would you prefer? To send an email to a small, responsive list of your subscribers and get a healthy response, or send an email to a large, unresponsive list complete with numerous spam complaints.
